The Manufacture Royale ADN is now my favourite timepiece from this independent watchmaker: the androgyne inspired case comes in stainless steel, black DLC steel, forged carbon and pink gold with forged carbon. The detail that I love most is the jumping disc – a technical solution that uses the entire main dial surfaces, focusing the view of the wearer at the important detail – the hour.
Another interesting watch, that I know from some years and I wanted to see is the QLOCKTWO W – I had a pop-up store close to me but I failed every time to get there. I used the opportunity to make a wrist trial of the Qlocktwo W yellow gold – a 35mm x 35mm gold PVD watch with a black PVD mesh strap. It looks good on the wrist and the time telling mode is at least interesting. The watches have a starting price of 630 Euro going till 980 Euro. Please visit Qlocktwo Website for more information.
For these images, I had the same problems as before: to much light or to less light and in reality the presentation windows were gorgeous. Bravo Dior for the idea. More information on Dior Website.
Soon I discovered the Jacob&Co booth and I was able to admire the astronomic timepieces. At the beginning, I was a little overwhelmed by the quantity of the precious stones, especially since I believe that diamonds&co are a girl’s best friend and not the best choice for a man. Still, some of the timepieces I would wear without hesitation.
About the Jacob&Co Astronomia Tourbillon, I wrote at the beginning of this year an article available HERE.
The end of my visit to Jacob&Co needed to be as beautiful as their timepieces so I photographed the beauties that you can not see in the catalogue and you can not take home with you – a selfie was the only solution. Please visit the Jacob&Co Website for more information.
