The free Easter days are a perfect moment to have a look at my favourite’s auction house Eppli Website for the latest additions which will be auctioned at the beginning of Mai. I’ve made a short selection of the timepieces interesting to me, some of them being if not rare, at least unusual.
The first timepiece is a lovely lady watch from Patek Philippe – the Ellipse: a hand wound watch with a gorgeous worked 18k gold case and strap, hiding inside the calibre 16-250. This watch has the Ref. 4461/1 and s.n. 2776391. The dial is simple and delicate with gold applied indexes and gold hours and minutes hands. The starting price is 3600Euro.
The second cool finding is a pre-moon Omega Seamaster in a decent condition and dated between the years ’66 and ’68. This legendary timepiece has the caliber 321, the original crystal and an extra Omega metal bracelet. The bidding is starting from 5400Euro, buyer fee included.
Another beautiful Omega, this time a classic dress watch, comes with a price starting from 1700Euro. The Ref. 2181 comes with a 38mm 18k gold case, caliber 265 and a beautiful white dial with small seconds.
A big name in the collectors’ world, Glashütte, is present at this auction with a Senator Ewiger Kalender: automatic movement GUB39 with day/date, month and moon phase. This watch comes with the original box and papers and has a starting price of 9600Euro
The next watch is another legendary lady watch – Cartier Tank, featuring a fantastic Tigereye dial. The movement powering this watch is the Cartier caliber 78-1. The starting price is 360Euro which includes the buyers premium and an original etui.
The next piece is a lady vintage Rolex with 9k gold case and email dial. The watch is not in it’s best shape but has a starting price of 300Euro.
The last timepiece is a super tough watch from the 70’s – the Zenith Defy. The steel watch is powered by the automatic caliber 2572. The watch needs a general inspection and revision but has a lower starting price of 265Euro.
In the auction on the 6th of May there also are other interesting pieces. Please visit the Eppli Website for more information and Happy Bidding!
