This year at SIHH, Bovet 1822 launched a ladies diamond timepiece – the Bovet Récital 23 Moon phase. Récital 23 is the first “writing slope” watch dedicated to the ladies. Featuring an aventurine dial and a spectacular SuperLuminova treated moon phase, the Bovet Récital 23 Moon phase is a delight for any haute horlogerie lover, regardless woman or man.
Bovet Récital 23 Moon phase – a short description
The diamond-set Récital 23 is an eye arresting piece. The oval-shaped gold case measures 43 mm by 38.70 mm.
The sloped case is paved with diamonds on the entire caseband, inclusive between the lugs. The lugs are relatively long and deep curved, to permit a good view of the watch case.
The beautiful crown is fitted with a diamond cabochon. The side view of the Bovet Récital 23 Moon phase is sumptuous.
The stones disposition is fabulous. The diamond setting is more complicated on this piece as a just a classic set: the diamonds must have a right dimension to fit perfectly the slope of the case.
The “writing slope” design permits on the dial side an entire theatrical scene mount.
Spectacular moon phase display
The Récital 23 is, by all means, a spectacular timepiece. Every detail is made to impress and the finishes are more than exceptional.
From the ten diamond hour indexes, till the half heart-shaped hands hovering above the aventurine dial, the time display breaths femininity. So delicate but alluring. The hands form a heart in the right position (approximately every hour). The SuperLuminova assures not only good legibility but also the charming factor.
The shooting star, adorned with a small diamond, brings the striking beauty of the sky closer to the wrist.
The Moon phase uses a rotating dome. The phase of the moon is displayed with an arched aperture above the time dial. In the low light, the show is breathtaking.
The bezel is set in diamonds. The case back is fixed with screws and has a polished finish. Only a few marks are visible (model, serial number and the gold marking)
An haute horlogerie movement
Bovet Récital 23 Moon phase is powered by the Calibre 11DA17-MP. The self-winding movement is as exceptional as the rest of the watch. The see-through case reveals its entire beauty.
The 62 hours power reserve will permit any lady to change between the daily pieces without caring about the setting.
The gorgeous finishes are completed by the 22k gold rotor.
Under a lucky star
Bovet Récital 23 Moon phase is an example of femininity on the wrist. The watch is exquisite in look and finishes. Bovet 1822 made no rabat in quality. The Récital 23 is a splendid example of how a watch brand takes care of its feminine connaisseurs clientele.
