“Imagined after a design competition initiated by Graham in 2001 with the National Center of Art and Design in Dublin, this unexpected and off-looking product was the buzz-master of Graham’s 2003 Basel presentation. With its two large sapphire magnifying glasses « staring » at you, its new chronograph technique and a surprising name, I took a chance to be disruptive again – the Swordfish was born!
This icon of watchmaking design met with unprecedented success in Graham’s history and became shortly after a statement piece; leading to a procession of counterfeits – well imitated, never equalled! Today, for the 25th anniversary of the brand, we decided to launch a re-edition limited to 25 pieces of the very first Swordfish series, with the original dial, its original movement and a 46mm steel case.
