To support the fight against breast cancer, Frederique Constant unveils the Pink Ribbon special editions, exclusively for her. For every watch sold worldwide from the 1st to the 31st of October, 2020, a donation of at least 10% will be made to a local charity actively involved in research to find a cure towards this disease.
Supporting a good cause
Every year around the world, the month of October is dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer. The international health campaign being led by the main charities active in this field is aimed to raise awareness about the disease, supporting those affected and raising funds for research.
Having been involved with charities for many years, Frederique Constant is now demonstrating its solidarity towards this cause with three Pink Ribbon special editions, paying tribute to the eponymous foundation dedicated to research into fighting breast cancer.
Unveiling three creations exclusively for her: the Classics Quartz Ladies Pink Ribbon, the Classics Carrée Ladies Pink Ribbon and the Ladies Automatic Pink Ribbon, all adorned with a pink strap, a colour conveying moral support for people affected by the disease.
For every Pink Ribbon special edition watch sold worldwide from the 1st to the 31st of October, 2020 – available online exclusively – a donation of at least 10% of its purchase price will be made to a local charity involved in research into breast cancer.
Classics Quartz Ladies Pink Ribbon
Timeless in appeal and complete with a romantic pink strap, the Classics Quartz Ladies is adorned with a sleek silvered guilloché dial and combines beauty and function in its date window at 6 o’clock. Hand-polished sleek black hands display the hours and minutes, accompanied by stylish black printed Roman numerals.
Classics Carrée Ladies Pink Ribbon
Influenced by elegant socialites from the late 1920s and characterised by its mini dial set with diamonds, the Classics Carrée Ladies makes the perfect classic jewellery watch. Hovering over its white mother-of-pearl dial and Roman numerals are hand-polished black hands showing the hours and minutes. A raspberry-coloured crocodile-effect calfskin leather strap adorns the piece.
Ladies Automatic Pink Ribbon
Driven by an automatic movement, the Ladies Automatic combines grace and charm, focusing all attention on its refinement. Mounted on a pink strap, the bezel sparkles brightly, set with 40 diamonds. Just as impressive is the dial, which features heart motifs and has been further enhanced by the layering of hand-applied Roman numerals and delicate diamond index hour markers.
About Frederique Constant
Frederique Constant is a Swiss watch manufacturing company domiciled in Geneva. It was founded in 1988 by a couple of independent entrepreneurs, Peter and Aletta Stas, to offer quality Swiss watches at competitive prices, with a view to democratising luxury Swiss Made watches.
Frederique Constant creates, develops, assembles and checks a wide variety of mechanical, quartz and connected timepieces at the same time within its 6,200 m2 Manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates (GE). Up to now, Frederique Constant has designed 29 Manufacture calibres, including high complications, such as the Tourbillon, Perpetual Calendar and Flyback Chronograph.
In 2015, Frederique Constant launched the Horological Smartwatch, the first Swiss Made connected watch with traditional styling. Powered by a connected module, the Horological Smartwatch represents a new segment in Swiss watchmaking. In 2018, the Classic Hybrid Manufacture succeeded it, combining a mechanical movement with intelligent features and an integrated calibre analysis system. It was followed by the Smartwatch Vitality line in 2020. Equipped with a new generation built-in heart rate sensor, it features a classic dial, combined with a digital display that is revealed on demand.
Frederique Constant currently has some 3,000 points of sale in 120 countries around the world. In 2016, the Frederique Constant group (Frederique Constant, Alpina Watches, Ateliers deMonaco) joined the Japanese group Citizen, so as to pursue its international development and nurture new synergies.
