MONACO (22 SEPTEMBER 2021) – It’s off to the races for Only Watch 2021! They all came together at the Monaco Yacht Show today in support of a great cause and to share in the simple delight of being part of something that keeps on getting more and more unifying with each new edition: brand CEOs, their representatives, independent watchmakers, the international press and the large community of Friends of Only Watch attended the presentation of the 53 lots (55 watches) that will be auctioned at Palexpo in Geneva – and online all over the world – on 6 November 2021.
“This is the 9th edition of Only Watch and the magic that brings good people and beautiful things around a meaningful cause is every bit as intense as the first time. It’s both wonderful and humbling to see how this initiative has grown over the years and that we are making a difference.
So far, thanks to the commitment of the amazing brands and people behind them, we have been able to raise more than 70 million euros for the quest of a cure on neuromuscular diseases. Like I’ve always said, time is of the essence, and this year the phrase takes on a new meaning as clinical trials for a treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy are on track to begin in 2022. Ready to rock – the Only Watch World Tour
After the Monaco Yacht Show concludes on 25 September, the collection of 55 one-off marvels will go on the now legendary world tour that precedes the main event, the auction in Geneva.
This year, while the collection will be on view at the Four Seasons Hôtel des Bergues in Geneva from 4 to 6 November, the auction will be held at Palexpo Geneva on 6 November 2021 at 2 PM, as well as online and on the telephone, as per usual.
After Monaco, the stars can be viewed up close at special exhibitions on the following dates and locations:

Clinical trials begin in 2022
ONLY WATCH has come a long way since the 1st edition in 2005. Thanks to the generosity of the watchmakers, donors, partners, and the extraordinary international press coverage, this fantastic altruistic impulse has permitted to raise more than 70 million Euros to date.
Today, clinical trials are on track to start in 2022! Thanks to the funds, scientists have been able to dive into the heart of cells in order to accelerate the knowledge of genetic diseases; to understand the dysfunctions they involve; to initiate the lengthy correction process; and to relentlessly advance towards therapies thanks to the pioneering techniques they have learned and developed.
To have come so far in such a short time in the fight against Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a testimonial to the power behind the idea of ONLY WATCH and that spirit is what drives everybody who is involved, from the researchers to the patients, from the watchmakers to the collectors, from the media to the many partners.
