Case Design:

• The BR-X5 Blue Lum boasts a 41mm case made from Grade 2 micro-blasted titanium, which lends both durability and lightness. The upper and lower sections of the case are constructed from blue luminescent quartz fibre composite (LM3D), a revolutionary material that emits a striking blue glow in low-light conditions. This case design enhances the watch’s visibility and aesthetic appeal, providing a distinctive contrast with the black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) finish.
• Case Back: The back of the case features a smoked grey sapphire crystal, treated with an anti-reflective coating to allow for a clear view of the inner workings of the watch, including the custom-designed oscillating weight.
• With a water resistance rating of 100 meters, the BR-X5 Blue Lum is suitable for swimming and other water activities, further emphasizing its functionality as a robust tool watch.

Dial and Hands:

• The dial is matte black, creating a perfect backdrop for the blue luminescent elements. Block-applied indices and skeletonized hour and minute hands are coated with blue Super-LumiNova, allowing them to glow brilliantly in low light while maintaining a sharp contrast during the day.
• The dial also features a date window at 3 o’clock and a power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock, both designed for optimal legibility. The flange around the dial has a 60-minute scale with blue accents to complement the luminescence.

• The standout feature of the BR-X5 Blue Lum is its mastery of luminescence. By incorporating LM3D material into the case and using Super-LumiNova on the dial, Bell & Ross has pushed the limits of luminescence, making the watch highly visible in darkness while exuding a futuristic and bold look.

• Powering the Bell & Ross BR-X5 Blue Lum is the BR-CAL.323 automatic mechanical movement, a high-performance caliber developed specifically for Bell & Ross. It beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers an impressive power reserve of approximately 70 hours.
• The movement is certified as a chronometer by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute), ensuring precision and reliability. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the movement features a custom oscillating weight design inspired by sports car rims.

Strap:

• The watch comes with an openworked black rubber strap, which is both comfortable and durable, making it ideal for everyday wear or more extreme conditions.
