Bremont’s Terra Nova field watch collection, references and is inspired by military pocket watches of the early 20th century. Styled and meticulously crafted, Terra Nova includes all the hallmarks of these original timepieces, capturing their rugged elegance, practicality, simplicity, and essential functionality, reinterpreted for the 21st century.
Bremont has expanded its Terra Nova field watch collection with the introduction of three new references crafted from a cupro-aluminum alloy. This material choice aligns with Bremont’s established commitment to durability and functional design. The 2025 Terra Nova Bronze Collection builds upon the foundation established by the original 904L steel models, retaining the distinctive cushion-shaped case and low-profile silhouette while introducing variations in dial design and complications.
The Terra Nova Bronze collection presents two distinct dial variations. The 40.5mm Date Bronze and 42.5mm Chronograph Bronze models feature a dark green linear gradient dial. Conversely, the limited-edition 40.5mm Turning Bezel Power Reserve Bronze showcases a warm caramel linear gradient dial. Sub-dial placement varies based on the complications, while the hands feature Super-LumiNova for visibility. A smaller Wayfinder logo is present on the dial. The chronograph and power reserve models incorporate smaller, full Super-LumiNova block numerals, intended to create a balanced dial aesthetic without compromising legibility.
The Terra Nova Bronze models house different movements based on their complications. The 40.5mm Date Bronze is powered by the Calibre BE-36AE, a modified automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement, which provides a 38-hour power reserve. The limited-edition 40.5mm Turning Bezel Power Reserve Bronze utilizes the Calibre BE-79AL, a modified automatic Sellita SW279 movement. This movement includes 31 jewels, a Glucydur balance wheel, an Anachron balance spring, and a Nivaflex mainspring, operating at 28,800 BPH (4 Hz) with a 38-hour power reserve and power reserve indicator. The 42.5mm Chronograph Bronze contains the Chronometer-rated calibre BE-50AV, a tuned version of the Sellita SW510BH an automatic movement with a 56-hour power reserve.
All three models utilize a two-piece case construction made from a cupro-aluminium bronze alloy chosen for its strength, durability, and hypoallergenic properties. The alloy is also more scratch-resistant than traditional bronze. Case dimensions vary, with the Date Bronze and Turning Bezel Power Reserve Bronze sharing a 40.5mm diameter, while the Chronograph Bronze measures 42.5mm. Water resistance is rated at 100 meters for all models. The Turning Bezel Power Reserve Bronze features a bidirectional bezel engraved with a compass rose, while the Chronograph Bronze incorporates a bi-directional bronze bezel with a black ceramic insert.
The Bremont Terra Nova Bronze Collection represents an evolution of the Terra Nova line, incorporating a bronze alloy while maintaining the collection’s design.
