Eberhard & Co. once again confirms its role as Main Sponsor and Official Timekeeper of the Coppa della Perugina, an event that celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2024. Taking place from May 8th to 11th, the Coppa della Perugina was born to revive the first speed race ever held in the Italian region of Umbria, originally organized between 1924 and 1927 by Giovanni Buitoni, founder of the confectionery company “La Perugina.”

This historic re-enactment is part of the prestigious “ASI Circuito Tricolore” (a nationwide series of events organized by the Italian Historical Automobile Club) and is open exclusively to vintage cars built up to 1965. Around one hundred classic vehicles are expected to take part in a tour that will explore some of the most picturesque locations in Umbria, blending a passion for automobiles with the discovery of the region’s cultural and natural beauty.
The event will kick off on Thursday, May 8th with a visit to Lake Trasimeno and Isola Maggiore, where participants will be able to enjoy breathtaking landscapes, charming fishing villages, centuries-old olive groves, and panoramic views over the lake.

On Friday, the convoy will head to Gualdo Tadino, a town known for its thermal waters and the imposing Rocca Flea fortress. The tour will continue through the Valsorda, a green paradise in the heart of the Umbria-Marche Apennines.

On Saturday, the cars will arrive in Città della Pieve, with its distinctive red-brick historic centre and picturesque views of the Val di Chiana. In the afternoon, participants will ride through the streets of Perugia in the traditional downtown procession.

On Sunday, the crews will meet in San Sisto, at the headquarters of Bartoccini, official Eberhard & Co. retailer. From there, the historical re-enactment will begin, including a regularity race that will conclude at the Nestlé-Perugina factory. The event will end with the awards ceremony, during which the winning team will receive a Champion V wrist chronograph, a symbol of Eberhard & Co.’s sporting spirit.

On this occasion, the Swiss Maison proudly renews its commitment to historic motorsport and to events that bring together a love of driving with the celebration of Italy’s cultural, artistic, and natural heritage.
