At its core, the watch is powered by the in-house calibre A5000. This is a manual-winding movement with monopusher chrono. Measuring 24mm in diameter and a slender 4.2mm in height, it sits perfectly within the compact 37mm case. The calibre operates at the low 3 Hertz (21,600 vibrations per hour), striking a balance between precision and the mechanical rhythm reminiscent of classic chronographs. The single coaxial pusher is integrated seamlessly into the crown, preserving the case’s smooth silhouette. It controls start, stop, and reset functions. This mechanism utilises a column wheel and horizontal clutch, delivering both precision and tactile satisfaction in operation. The movement offers a sufficient power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound.

This movement’s pedigree is further validated by its nomination for the 2025 Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève in the chronograph category. One of my favourites…
