The dial of the Master Control Classic is an exercise in refined understatement. Rendered in a cool, silvery-white colour palette, it serves as a canvas upon which subtle yet deliberate enhancements have been articulated. The sunray-brushed finish captures the light with a dynamic interplay of soft reflections, shifting nuances as the wrist moves. Elongated triangular indexes mark the hours with crisp definition, their polished surfaces offering a pleasing contrast to the radial brushing of the background.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has maintained the purity of the original design by employing luminescent dots at the cardinal points and classic Dauphine hands for the hours and minutes. These hands, sharp and faceted, ensure legibility while reinforcing the dress watch aesthetic. The polished surfaces of the case accentuate its curves, while the lugs curve gently to hug the wrist, ensuring a comfortable wearing experience.

This medallion takes inspiration from the original design of the 1990s, serving as a seal of quality that attests to the rigorous six-week testing protocol the fully cased watch must undergo. The watch is water-resistant to 5 bar, offering practical robustness for daily wear. It is secured to the wrist by a warm brown ostrich leather strap with lighter stitching, fastened by a simple steel pin buckle that enhances the vintage appeal.
