At the heart of the KUDOKE 5 lies a beautifully crafted dial that exemplifies the union of function and art. Dominating the watch face is a large, domed celestial disk, hand-engraved to depict the constellations with a focus on Ursa Minor, where Polaris stands as a beacon. This feature operates within a 24-hour cycle, offering an intuitive grasp of day and night, enhanced by the electroplating in yellow gold, black, and white rhodium that provides vivid contrast and draws the observer into its intricacies. The surrounding chapter ring, elegantly frosted and silvered, marks time in 15-minute increments, making the K5 a paragon of both design and readability.

At the core of the KUDOKE 5 is the in-house developed KALIBER 1-24H_L movement, a feast of independent mechanical beauty. Featuring a hand-wound mechanism with 18 jewels, it operates at a precise rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement stands out for its integration of a ball bearing in the 24-hour mechanism, meticulously engineered to minimise friction without the need for lubrication. A frosted finish graces the wheel bridge, while the balance cock bears a hand-engraved infinity symbol, illustrating the commitment to traditional embellishment while embracing innovative techniques.

The KUDOKE 5’s case is an epitome of refined craftsmanship and ergonomic design. Fashioned from polished stainless steel with a striking domed sapphire crystal, it provides a spacious view of the underlying celestial disk while maintaining a comfortable wear with a visible height of 7 mm and a total diameter of 38 mm. The case’s lug-to-lug measurement of 47 mm ensures a perfect balance between wrist presence and elegance, while a water resistance of up to 5 ATM adds a practical layer to its luxurious appearance.

The KUDOKE 5 transcends conventional boundaries, inviting wearers into a temporal experience that intertwines the brilliance of the cosmos with the precision of modern watchmaking. This timepiece orchestrates a visual symphony that celebrates the fluid passage of hours, crafted with the expertise and vision of Stefan Kudoke. Devoid of opulent embellishments yet profoundly sophisticated, it stands as a sculptural representation of time’s gentle flow, appealing to those who appreciate the dedication to artisanal horology combined with contemporary innovation.
