This extraordinary timepiece is the fifth limited edition in the Oltremare collection, combining the iconic Cintrée Curvex case with an in-house movement that offers an impressive 7-day power reserve, reflecting both technical mastery and bold design innovation.
The dial, a testament to traditional craftsmanship, features a stamped guilloché with a sunray pattern. Its circular lines radiate from the center, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. Accentuated by 25 layers of lacquer and finished in a deep blue Oltremare, the surface gleams with remarkable depth and brilliance. White hand applied numerals add striking contrast and showcase Franck Muller’s dedication to artisanal excellence.
At the heart of this timepiece lies the in-house MVT FM 1701 R1, a manual wound movement equipped with a generous 7-day power reserve, made possible by a double barrel system. One of its most distinctive features is the hand-operated power reserve indicator, positioned unconventionally between the 10 and 11 numerals. This playful and asymmetrical detail is a hallmark of the Crazy collection, underscoring the watch’s spirit of innovation and individuality.
