The Alpina TRTS Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic Special Edition marks a collaboration between Alpina Watches and The Real Time Show podcast hosts Alon Ben Joseph and Rob Nudds, launched on 27 November 2025 as an online exclusive limited to small numbers at £2,195, reworking the Seastrong Diver Extreme with a compact 39 mm case, charcoal grained dial, vivid orange seconds hand and enhanced lume for superior readability while preserving the brand’s 1883 sports watch heritage in a tool diver format suited to extreme underwater conditions.

A two-layer lacquered grained charcoal dial forms the centrepiece, its finely textured surface beneath a gloss layer carrying pad-printed white minute track and ton-sur-ton black wordmark and Automatic lettering that recede from certain angles to sharpen contrast with the pure white lume, while enlarged pad-printed white index hour markers with luminous filling, pearl black hour and minute hands enclosing bright white lume segments, and a lacquered orange seconds hand tipped with a black triangle filled white lume deliver immediate legibility, the rehaut flange removed to widen the dial aperture and integrate the minute track directly.

Alpina‘s AL-520 automatic calibre powers the time-only display of hours, minutes and seconds with a 38-hour power reserve at 28,800 vph through 26 jewels, its Sellita SW200-1 base executed to the brand’s specifications in a no-nonsense workhorse configuration that prioritises reliability under 300 m diving pressures over visible finishing or complications, the threaded solid case back engraved with Seastrong pattern shielding the movement while allowing the focus to remain on dial-side tool watch functionality.

Brushed and polished stainless steel defines the three-part 39 mm diameter by 40.5 mm lug-to-lug and 12.65 mm thick case, crowned by a screw-down knurled black crown and equipped with a matte black ceramic unidirectional rotating diving bezel whose raised gloss minute markers echo the dial’s finish, all protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and sealed to 30 ATM (300 m / 1000 ft) water resistance, with a black rubber strap secured by a folding buckle with push-button release completing the rugged, compact profile ideal for diverse wrist sizes and active pursuits.

This TRTS Seastrong Diver Extreme Automatic – €2,195, distils Alpina’s sports watch ethos into a collaboration-driven special edition that trades flamboyance for purposeful readability and wearability, its charcoal dial with orange accents and white lume transforming the downsized diver case into a modern tool watch collectors will appreciate for daily extremes as much as underwater rigours, available initially online before retail rollout in February 2026.
