Lot 88, John Baker Decorative Neoclassical Pocket Watch, a remarkable timepiece crafted from 20K yellow gold. This open-face, key-winding pocket watch features a round-shaped design and a pristine white enamel dial. The case-back is adorned with royal blue flinqué enamel, showcasing a rose-cut diamond-set rosacea at the center, surrounded by a crown of 13 pearls. The bezels are meticulously set with 43 pearls each, totaling an impressive 99 pearls.

Equipped with 23”’ circular plates with pillars made of gilded brass, this pocket watch operates on a fusee and chain mechanism. It utilizes a cylinder escapement with a brass wheel, a monometallic balance made of polished steel, and a blued steel flat hairspring. The timepiece boasts a pierced and engraved gilded English cock and a diamond end-stone.

Presenting Lot 90, the Jorg Gray Jewelry Casket, a captivating key-winding watch-box crafted in yellow gold and galuchat (shagreen). This rectangular casket features a hinged lid adorned with a stunning repoussé floral and rocaille pattern. The white enamel dial displays radial Roman numerals for the hours and radial Arabic numerals for the minutes, with a winding aperture at 12 o’clock. The watch movement, measuring 15”’, boasts a full plate made of fire-gilded brass, intricately engraved with foliate decoration. It features turned baluster pillars, a fusee and chain mechanism, and a verge escapement. The monometallic three-arm balance is made of gilded brass, accompanied by a blued steel flat hairspring. The pierced and engraved gilded English cock showcases a mascaron and a silver regulator disc. The watch also includes repeater work and a silver dust ring. The bell is signed with an etching-needle “J.”
