Carl F. Bucherer is paying a very special tribute to the popular German cities of Berlin, Munich and Düsseldorf with the colourful Heritage Bicompax Annual Hometown Edition. Closely rooted in Switzerland, the global brand nevertheless identifies with the cosmopolitan zeitgeist.

What makes each watch so special is the fascinating 3-D engraving on the domed sapphire crystal of the case back, dedicated to the respective city and showing a distinctive landmark, as well as the serial number – because each timepiece is individually numbered and limited to 88 pieces!

The watches show a colour gradient, where the dial is kept light in the centre and gradually changes to darker shades towards the outside. The sunburst finishes were made in five different colours: Yellow, Brown, Bordeaux, Green and Mint. In addition to the rhodium-plated hour and minute counters with black Super-LumiNova filling, they also feature a central chronograph seconds counter, a tachymeter scale and a bold big date window at 12 o’clock, as well as the month aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock. The black small seconds and chronograph subdials create a striking contrast to the colour of the dial. The watches are presented with a bicolour calfskin strap with decorative stitching, the colour of which matches the dial.

About Carl F. Bucherer
Carl F. Bucherer has been crafting watches since 1888 and is internationally renowned for its quality, innovation, and pioneering spirit. CFB is one of only a few remaining independent and founding family-owned Swiss watch manufacturers – it is now led by third-generation family member Jörg G. Bucherer. The brand’s watches continue to evolve, combining contemporary style and advanced materials with the utmost precision and outstanding functionality.
Every timepiece produced is conceptualized, developed, and hand-assembled in its own facilities in Switzerland – with many watches powered by CFB’s own movements, all designed and built entirely in-house. The brand is also the market leader in peripheral technology, having patented not only a peripheral winding system but also a “floating tourbillon” in a peripherally supported cage and a peripherally guided minute repeater regulator.
Since the very start, CFB has adopted an international mindset and a forward-looking attitude, exploring time through the perspectives of watch aficionados everywhere. Today, it showcases its expertise, refined over generations, with a major retail presence spanning four continents. This global network continually reminds the world what remains so special about the craft of Swiss watchmaking.
