The Admiral of Time is a 50mm marvel. There are 20 pieces in a gold case and 10 pieces in titanium so it’s not an easy to spot watch. It’s a full Carillon Westminster Minute Repeater with a sophisticated hidden activation system: one of the lugs slides to activate the minute repeater mechanism.
Powered by the BVLGARI DR7301 calibre, this beauty has a power reserve of 48 hours, detente escapement and constant torque with a relatively slow heart – cylindrical balance-spring beating at 3 Hz, 4 hammers and gongs.
The finishes are extraordinary and the remontoir is nicely visible on the top, together with the balance spring and part of the gongs. The back is sapphire, so you can admire the entire movement.
