Today, a set of new creations once again showcases Piaget’s light mastery, both as a jeweller and a watchmaker.

Their explosive design reminds the unique energy of the sun, through asymmetric movements that enhance their radiance and uniqueness. At the centre of these earrings, rings, pendant and bracelet, the motive extends its rays to express the solar warmth in a spectacular play of lights.

In our ateliers, our designers also played with textures, volumes, and forms to render the sun’s unpredictable glow. To achieve this mastery of light that sits at the core of Piaget’s savoir-faire, they use the contrasts of finishes. Polished or decorated, the precious material’s versatility and pure beauty thus shine through, as the unique craftsmanship of the Palace Décor perfectly shows. Each creation is as beautiful as it is unique and require a level of precision and attention usually reserved to High Jewellery creations. Created in 1961 and that has, since then, become a Piaget signature adornment, the emblematic Palace Décor, captures the sun’s vibrancy and eternal energy in jewellery creations that reflect light like no other. The Palace Décor was inspired by the jet set and the glamorous women who loved to dance at the Gstaad Palace hotel, where Piaget’s legendary soirées were held.
With its natural, subtle glow, Palace Décor epitomizes seductive appeal. Its great strength lies in its ability to envelop the skin in alluring elegance. It must be touched to be fully understood: only the experience of wearing it can truly reveal the pleasure it brings. Palace Décor clearly possesses Piaget’s trademark sensuality.
On the Limelight Gala watch, the pure, mother-of-pearl dial with alternating diamonds-set indexes and pink gold Roman numerals radiates a contemporary aura of femininity. 42 brilliant-cut diamonds are set on the rose gold case, using the intricate technique of “serti descendu” that magnifies the brilliance of each stone.

From his first workshop in La Côte-aux-Fées, Georges-Edouard Piaget devoted himself to crafting high-precision movements in a feat that formed the very foundations of our pioneering name.
