Fabergé, an iconic and prestigious name of exceptional heritage, joined forces with Legado – Barbados’ newest and most luxurious cigar brand, and Rome de Bellegarde, highly regarded as the ‘world’s most expensive cognac’ to celebrate the international debut of Legado Cigars – Rorrey Fenty Collection. A star-studded party, attended by Rihanna, celebrates the legacy of three brands.
The exclusive evening soiree, hosted by Rorrey Fenty at The Vinyl Factory in Soho, was a celebration of past and present, championing the modern meaning of family legacy amongst 200 friends and family of each respective brand.
Attendees at the private event included Rihanna, Rorrey Fenty, Lester Brathwaite, Lee Trapstar, Fifi Anicah, Thomas van Straubenzee, Ronnie O’Sullivan, Leila Rouass, Vince Fraser, Julia Varvara, Adam Morse and Bluey Robinson.
The pinnacle of the evening was the unveiling and auctioning of a collection of four unique lots. Four bespoke handcrafted boxes, designed by Gemma M. de Ana especially for this event, were stocked with rare items from each brand to celebrate the monumental moment: limited edition timepieces by Fabergé, exclusive handmade cigars by Legado and the world’s most expensive cognac, Rome de Bellegarde.
After the grand reveal, esteemed auctioneer Kate Flitcroft took to the stand and invited guests to place their bids on each one-of-a-kind lot. The gavel came down with the lots selling for between £800,000 and £1,200,000.
Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell, Director of Sales at Fabergé, gave an inspiring speech, saying “Time is the literal and symbolic theme of this evening. Time unifies the three brands tonight. All our products stem from decades, and even centuries of carefully evolved and advanced expertise. The success of crafting excellence is not a quick process”.
