Roventa-Henex SA announced today the appointment of Jérôme Biard as CEO. An experienced leader with over 20 years in the watchmaking industry, he will be spearheading the next development phase of Roventa-Henex SA, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
Biel, Switzerland, 4 June 2019 – Roventa-Henex SA, the leading watch manufacturer specialised in design, product development, production and logistics for third party brands, announced today the appointment of Jérôme Biard as CEO. Building on his previous experience as CEO of major high watchmaking manufacturers and international distribution networks, Jérôme Biard, who joined Roventa-Henex in April, will lead the company’s international development. Roventa-Henex, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, is an independent company partly owned by its own management.

Jérôme Biard has been at home in the world of luxury goods, and more specifically watchmaking, for almost thirty years.
At the end of the 1980s, Jérôme Biard joined the Richemont Group, where he began his career at Baume & Mercier, followed by Piaget. He then spent six years as market manager for Vacheron Constantin and then sales manager for Cartier Suisse for watches, leather goods, perfumes, accessories and writing instruments. The latter also included responsibility for the Swiss division of Montegrappa. In 2005, Jérôme Biard joined Girard-Perregaux as Global Sales Manager. In 2009, he took on the role of CEO of LPI SA within Weitnauer Holding AG, a leading duty free and domestic distribution group, where he also joined the boards of Dimeco AG and LPI T.H.A.S.
From 2017 he was CEO of the Corum and Eterna brands until joining Roventa-Henex in April 2019.
Married and the proud father of five children, Jérôme Biard is a graduate of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne.
