From the moment it brushes the skin, each piece of jewellery from the Piaget atelier impresses with its meticulous finish, its size – reminiscent of the 90s – and its daring design.

Whether the pieces draw on the purity of diamonds or the intensity of sapphires, set in a colour scale of rainbow hues, precious stones nestle into precious metal, marrying perfectly with the gold craftsmanship. Created in rose gold or white gold, in different sizes and settings, the beauty of the Possession Palace Décor ring, in its many variations, is something everyone can agree on. This extends right down to the setting of the same name, the setting we call “Possession”, which holds the central diamond between two brackets engraved in gold, so that the stone seems to stand proud by itself. The version with a row of pavé diamonds beside the Palace Décor band is enhanced by a larger set diamond, in contrast with the pavé version that sports a double row of diamonds in two different diameters. On the second model, the diamonds are surrounded by Palace Décor engraving, giving it a strikingly modern, exquisite appearance.
The set of rings also draws attention to the crowning jewel of the collection. All eyes will be on this piece: a bangle created in three versions, including two gold models – one with a single set diamond and one with two rows of pavé diamonds on either side of the central motif. Palace Décor stands out on the body of the bangle, on the mini spinning band in the centre, and in the central diamond set between Possession brackets.
A major challenge: moving towards fully integrated production
Since he took on the role of CEO two years ago, Benjamin Comar has worked tirelessly to reorganise the integrated Manufacture in Plan-Les-Ouates, on the outskirts of Geneva. What was the aim behind this reorganisation? To increase productivity and carve out a place for the creation of jewellery, now a fully integrated production process. Successfully reorganising the entire design and production process of this brand, set to celebrate its 150th anniversary in spring, was a real challenge, one that our teams have tackled in record time. Naturally, their success lies in their technical prowess, but also in their human efforts to push the boundaries of what they knew to be possible. Together, they strove to find an expert, daring way to rethink Piaget’s traditional codes. This challenge was significant: the same visual signature as that seen on the finest high jewellery had to come across on larger pieces, created to suit the demands of everyday life. To do so, the Manufacture harnessed its teams’ motivation, taking inspiration from Frank Sinatra’s iconic Fly Me to the Moon – a code name for the plan that allowed Piaget to hit the stars in record time.
