Singer Reimagined is delighted to announce the launch of its new Singer Track1 London Edition in the occasion of the opening of Phillips PERPETUAL in collaboration with Bacs & Russo. A new destination for collectors offering only the most desirable timepieces in Berkeley Square, Mayfair, London.
Singer Reimagined was born from the encounter between Rob Dickinson, Founder and creative Director of Singer Vehicle Design, and Italian watch designer Marco Borraccino. The company was created to reimagine high-watchmaking, combining obsessive attention to detail, unique perspectives and a love for the iconic sport watches of the 1960s and 1970s. The duo was soon joined by master watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht who would provide a revolutionary chronograph movement to power their first opus, Track1. With Track1, Singer Reimagined redefines the chronograph functionality. Ten years in the making, its revolutionary movement, the AgenGraphe, goes beyond the limitations imposed by preceding mechanisms, enabling a centralized indication of the chronograph functions, thus enabling a radical focus on legibility and performance. The time of day is presented in striking relief around the periphery of the dial by the small pointer at 6 o’clock, floating just above 2 rotating discs.
Since it was presented in June 2017, the Singer Reimagined Track1 has been awarded multiple prizes. In particular, the Hong Kong Edition was voted Best Chronograph at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve 2018, the world’s most prestigious watch awards.

Following the introduction of the Launch Edition, Geneva Edition and Hong-Kong Edition, Singer Reimagined took the opportunity of the opening of the Phillips Perpetual in Mayfair to present the London Edition. As a matter of fact, following several successful collaborations between Singer and Phillips, Singer Reimagined watches will be on permanent display in the auction house’s new retail concept aiming at offering a boutique experience to its collectors. Better still, Singer Reimagined will be the only watch brand to present new watches at Phillips Perpetual.
The elegant and technically innovative looks of the Singer Reimagined Track1 London Edition are underscored with a subtle blue dial. Its sunray brushed center is framed by a circular brushed minute track. Refined for optimum readability of the signature centralized chronograph display, the orange hands contrast boldly against the dial. The current time can be read digitally on a pair of rotating discs on the outer perimeter via a fixed marker.
43mm in diameter, the sleek barrel-shaped case is fashioned out of grade 5 titanium, with alternating brushed and polished surfaces. For optimal operations and wearing comfort, the crown is partly recessed at 4 o’clock and the ergonomically rounded chronograph pushers are located on either side of the case. Turning the watch over, the exhibition case-back offers an unimpeded view of the revolutionary self-winding chronograph movement.
The Singer Reimagined Track1 London Edition is worn on a dark blue calfskin leather strap with anthracite stitching and perforated with brushed grade 5 titanium screw-down rivets. A folding buckle secures the watch to the wrist.
A limited-edition of 50 watches, the Singer Reimagined Track1 London Edition is available for pre-order beginning today. It will be on display at Phillips Perpetual, 30 Berkeley Square, Mayfair, London, from September 5th.
The engine under the bonnet
The AgenGraphe, the calibre powering the Singer Track1 stands apart from all previous chronograph movements. The result of a decade of development, this groundbreaking piece of mechanical ingenuity completely redefines fundamental principles that have remained unchanged for decades.
The underlying idea that led to the invention of the AgenGraphe was to enhance the legibility of the chronograph – which is usually poor – with the use of small counters spread out across the dial. Thanks to a radically new architecture, the AgenGraphe brings together all the chronograph functions in the centre of the watch, allowing for easy and intuitive reading of elapsed time. To further enhance legibility, the chronograph incorporates jumping minute and hour indicators.
To connect the chronograph mechanism to the timekeeping gear train, the AgenGraphe features an innovative clutch mechanism. The coupling is made horizontally which requires less space, yet it is made using friction, just like a vertical clutch. The dial-side rotor (made possible because the hands are on a central axis) leaves an unimpeded view of the movement and its 477 meticulously hand-finished parts.
