Oris surprises us this spring/summer with new colours for the Aquis Date Collection. From the pastel mother-of-pearl 36.5mm version to the bold cherry red with sparkling lab-grown diamond and more masculine green in 43.5mm or the blue dial small seconds in 54.5 mm, Oris extends its offer with exceptionally good-looking diver watches.
Diving for pearls
Oris is delighted to introduce the new Aquis Date 36.5 mm collection with mother-of-pearl dials.
The line includes three models in stainless steel, with either a blue, green or pink mother-of-pearl dial and matching rubber strap. Each watch bears the high-performance characteristics familiar to the Aquis family.
They’re water resistant to 30 bar (300 metres), and include a number of features essential to divers, including a uni-directional rotating bezel with a minutes scale for timing dives, a screw-down crown with protection, luminescent hands and hour markers, and a ‘ seconds hand with a lu me filled dot that even in low light indicates the watch is running. The performance and versatility of the Aquis Date have made it Oris’s most successful wristwatch over the past decade. The Aquis Date 36.5 mm with mother-of-pearl dials is set to enhance its reputation.
Oris sparkles with lab-grown diamonds
Oris is excited to announce the Aquis Date Diamonds, our first watch with a dial and bezel set with lab-grown diamonds. Lab grown diamonds are produced in a high-tech process that results in a uniform stone that is indistinguishable from an Earth-mined diamond of equivalent quality. The bezel is set with 48 Top Wesselton brilliant cut lab grown diamonds, and there are a further 44 Top Wesselton brilliant cut diamonds set into the dial.
Each diamond is E G in colour and VS1 quality. In total, the watch is set with 1.2 carats of diamonds. Behind these precious stones, the watch has a 41.5 mm stainless steel case, a cherry red dial, an automatic mechanical movement and either a stainless steel bracelet or a cherry red rubber strap. It’s water resistant to 30 bar (300 metres).
Green days
The Aquis Date Calibre 400 is the flagship in Oris’s collection of high performance mechanical diving watches. This year, we’re delighted to introduce a version of it with a gradient green dial and green ceramic bezel insert, an elegant, sartorial finish that sits naturally in the Aquis Date family of watches.
It has a 43.5 mm stainless steel case and is equipped with the Oris patented Quick Strap Change system for switching between an adjustable bracelet and an adjustable rubber strap (supplied separately).
It has a uni directional rotating bezel for timing dives, a screw down crown with protection, lumi nescent hands and hour markers, and a ‘ seconds hand with a lumed dot for indicating that the watch is running even in low light conditions. Inside it is Oris Calibre 400, our powerful in house automatic that brings a five day power reserve, eleva ted levels of anti magnetism, a 10 year warranty and 10 year recommended service intervals. The watch is water resistant to 30 bar (300 metres).
Finding new depths
Oris is pleased to introduce the Aquis Small Second Date 45.5 mm, a new size for the time and date only version of our evergreen, go anywhere diver’s watch. The watch features a small seconds at 9 o’clock with a hand coated in Super LumiNova® that indicates the watch is running, even in low li ght conditions, an essential facet of a diver’s watch. It’s also water resistant to 50 bar (500 metres), where typically Aquis Date models offer 30 bar (300 metres) of water resistance. Otherwise, it carries the same dependable features divers have come to expect of the Aquis Date: a screw down crown with protection, a uni directional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert, and either a metal bracelet or rubber strap equipped with the Oris patented extendable security folding clasp. The watch’s dial, bezel in sert and rubber strap option are all a deep blue, inspired by the ocean depths.
