Stéphane Mbia appointed ambassador for Christophe Claret

Stéphane Mbia was born on 20th May 1986 in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

In 2003 he arrived in Brittany, playing his first matches with Rennes during the 2004-2005 season. The 2005-2006 season marked his début with the Rennes first team. In 2009 he left Rennes to join Olympique de Marseille, where he played for three seasons before signing for Queens Park Rangers. This was followed by a two-season stint at Seville.

He loved the city of Seville so much that he decided to build his home there.
His career then took him to Turkey and China.
He has remained in China, where he now plays for Wuhan Zall, currently 5th in the Chinese Super League.

Stéphane Mbia has amassed numerous titles: he won two victories in the UEFA Europa League with Sevilla FC, he captained the Cameroon national team; he played in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2010 and 2015, and the World Cup in 2010 and 2014.
