Not long ago I presented the Brellum Wyvern Chronometer and now, Brellum Watches is proud to present the new WYVERN Classic “Petite Seconde”. Let’s give a warm welcome to the newest member of the collection.
There are two years since my first encounter with Brellum Watches. I was impressed from the first moment by the lovely design: a classical Swiss timepiece. Moreover, the nice design with cool details comes with a decent price. After the Chronometer Chronograph line, Brellum switched to an even more classical design – a three hands watch with date display in an interesting colouristic variation.
The new Wyvern “Petite Seconde” – small seconds, comes with Brellum details all over: a great case design adorned with a Brellum logo crown and box Sapphire crystal.
After the 5 days power reserve model, the new Wyvern Petite Seconds comes again, and this is now no surprise for the brand, with a COSC certified movement.
As expected, the finishes are lovely, giving more than you might expect for the price category.
The choice of colours is a bit unusual, but pleasant considering the entire design. It is not often met a black date on a silver dial, but also black filled hour and minutes hands. Cool!
Of course, the watch is a bliss on the wrist: the multi-style finishing of the stainless steel case goes nicely with the luminous hands and sunshine pattern domed dial. Again, in the black version, the contrast is interesting. It’s the first time when I can say that I agree with the white day on a black dial.
Available with black, blue and silver dials, the Wyvern Classic is delivered with a hand-made calf leather strap and steel deploying buckle with safety push buttons.
The Brellum Wyvern Petite Seconds is a lovely watch. It is a nice combination of modern manufacturing with classic design elements, pushing the barriers of a traditional look with an interesting selection of colours.
