This year, the watch brand UNION GLASHÜTTE presents a new limited edition Belisar Chronograph Speedster – in an eye-catching electric blue.
The inspiration behind the new Belisar Chronograph is a legendary vehicle from the 1970s, the striking electric blue of which is perfectly replicated in the dial. The panda dial of the watch is reminiscent of the black grille of the car: Black totalisers create a striking contrast with the monochrome blue dial and guarantee perfect readability. The watch’s sporty character is complemented by classic vintage touches: Retro pump push-buttons, railway track chapter rings and other complications make the Belisar Chronograph Speedster a modern-classic masterpiece. The interchangeable straps in rubber and stainless steel with quick-change spring bar make the new Speedster a versatile timepiece to suit any occasion. The Belisar Chronograph Speedster is limited to 388 pieces worldwide.
This year, UNION GLASHÜTTE is turning to the striking colour of a very special vintage car for inspiration for its Speedster collection: namely, electric blue. The dial is complemented by the black totalisers and tachymeter. The hands are black nickel-plated and coated with Super-LumiNova®, while the chronograph hands are black with white tips, the small second is black nickel, and the chronograph counter is painted white. The vintage-inspired design continues through classic elements such as retro pump push-buttons and railway track chapter rings. Alongside the UNION GLASHÜTTE lettering, the Limited Edition wording highlights the exclusivity of the watch. The exact limited edition number for each timepiece can be found on the screwed-on case back.
The new Belisar Chronograph Speedster Limited Edition features the UNG-27.S1 automatic movement with an anti-magnetic silicon balance spring and also boasts a power reserve of more than 65 hours. The sophisticated interchangeable rubber strap with quick-change spring bar captures the sporty and light character of this model. For those who prefer a more elegant sporty look can switch the strap to the stainless steel version quickly and easily.
The Belisar Chronograph Speedster Limited Edition is available at a recommended retail price of EUR 3350 including VAT.
