I am a watch lover and if I don’t have a watch on my wrist I feel incomplete. That’s me… I walk on the street and I look in the boutique windows the same way kids looks at toys, women at shoes/ jewellery/clothes, whatever…
This was the case of the Tissot Heritage 1936 – I saw it, I fell in love… The vintage look, the gorgeous 30’s style case with a modern movement and a great price: 995 Euro for both men and women model.

I am very pleased with the 45 mm classic round shape steel case and the crown is something special. The calibre is another classic – hand wound ETA6498-1 and is nicely decorated and visible in the same way the movements were visible in pocket watches.

The description from Tissot website: It was after the impact of World War I that men started to wear wristwatches rather than pocket watches for practicality reasons. The watchmakers started by taking pocket watches and welding arches on each side of the case in order to slip a strap at the back, as to create a watch that could be worn on the wrist. The Tissot Heritage 1936 is exactly that. 

The lady model of the Heritage 1936 is smaller with only 36 mm diameter and features an automatic movement  – ETA2895-2, with gold finished rotor.
Both models of Tissot Heritage 1936 have scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and see-through caseback.
The watches have white dials with Arabic numerals and small second at 6 o’clock. The men’s watch has a calfskin leader strap and the lady’s model a synthetic strap, both with standard buckle.
