Ralph Lauren presents three new Polo Player Watch models with a white lacquered dial, building on the sporting sophistication that has come to define Polo Ralph Lauren since its inception. Distinguished by a bold, painterly rendering of Ralph Lauren’s iconic logo, each timepiece embodies 50 years of artistic heritage and fine horological craftsmanship from Switzerland.
Interchangeable strap offerings reflect Ralph Lauren’s multifaceted, singular vision of timeless living, from stainless steel to leather printed with the Polo Sport logo of the ’90s apparel collections. The introduction of a rubber strap engraved with “Polo” lettering is another sporty option particularly suited for summer months.
The Polo Player
In 1972, Ralph Lauren’s signature emblem—capturing the penultimate moment before mallet meets ball during a polo game—took its place on the chest of the Polo shirt, where it became a symbol recognized around the world. Gracing the dial of the Polo Watch collection, the Polo Player is 3-D printed in multiple layers of rich colour and complemented by luminescent-printed Arabic numbers on a lacquered dial and framed by an anodized aluminium ring on a stainless steel bezel.
Swiss-made movement
The stainless steel round cases measure 42mm by 12.35mm and include an exhibition case back to make fine details visible—including vertical Côtes de Genève stripes and circular graining, known as perlage. The timepieces are powered by an automatic, Swiss-made, calibre RL200 movement run at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and features 26 jewels with an approximately 38-hour power reserve.
