It’s the 20th anniversary of the Sachsen Classic, and to mark the special occasion, UNION GLASHÜTTE has come up with something very special: A chronograph whose dial is reminiscent of the retro ventilation grilles of special vintage cars – UNION GLASHÜTTE Noramis Chronograph Limited Edition Sachsen Classic 2023. With its sporty vintage look, an exquisite chronograph movement and a limited edition of 350 pieces, it is an absolute highlight. The use of retro mushroom pushers and a rail minuterie on the dial creates a special vintage-style depth effect. A 30-minute totaliser blends in with the design of the dial. The watch is rounded off with a cognac-coloured leather strap or a black leather strap with racing perforations.
The intense brown of the dial is reminiscent of the original paintwork of a well-known vintage car. The chrome elements reminds one of ist vintage ventilation grille. The chronograph hands are elegantly embedded in the rich brown dial and are additionally lacquered in noble white. The same applies to the hour and minute hands, which are additionally coated with Super-LumiNova® and thus enable precise timekeeping – even in the dark. The dial is under a domed sapphire crystal. The latest UNION GLASHÜTTE UNG-27.S2 movement can be admired through the back, which is also made of sapphire crystal. The model has a total diameter of 42 mm. The date window at 9 o’clock and the 30-minute totaliser at 3 o’clock blend harmoniously into the dial.
The two straps that come with the watch allow it to appear in a completely different light. Elegant in retro style with a cognac-coloured calfskin strap or sporty in rally look with a black calfskin strap with racing holes. The straps can be easily exchanged thanks to the interchangeable strap system.
