The Gaisbergrennen is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year: the first race was held in the Salzburg region in 2003 and has been attracting classic car fans and racing enthusiasts every summer ever since. Participants compete against each other in a wide variety of disciplines, such as driving a city grand prix as well as various classification drives.
UNION GLASHÜTTE is celebrating this anniversary with a very special limited edition: a Noramis chronograph in the typical retro look of the 60s and 70s with an eye-catching panda look. On this watch, a white dial meets black totalisers. The date at nine o’clock is also black and fits harmoniously into the overall picture. The hands and indexes, on the other hand, are in rose gold, which gives the sporty chronograph a noble finish. The watch comes with two straps that make it look completely different: The black racing strap gives it a sporty look, while the cognac-coloured calfskin strap creates a more classic look.
The unusual dial of the Noramis Chronograph brings (vintage) racing back to life. The black and white look is reminiscent of the start and finish flags of the rallies. These can also be found as symbols on the dial. The mushroom pushers and the curved box glass emphasise the retro look of the timepiece – complemented by the track minutery. The Super-LumiNova® coated rose-gold hands and indexes also allow the watch to be read in the dark.
The highlight is the watch’s two different straps, which allow you to decide every day which style you want to convey when wearing it: Sporty with the black racing strap or classic with the cognac-coloured calfskin strap.
Inside this retro watch ticks the ultra-modern UNG-27.S2 movement with silicon hairspring. The 42 mm diameter of the Noramis flatters every wrist and ensures effortless reading of the time.
