At Watches and Wonders 2023, Grand Seiko had introduced an evolution of its 44GS designed Hi-Beat 36000 and Hi-Beat 36000 GMT, with five models boasting the Brand’s latest alloy: Ever-Brilliant Steel. All of them was adorned with Shizukuishi’s signature dial: the Mount Iwate. Today, the brand releases a special version, exclusive to its Online Boutique – Grand Seiko Heritage Collection Mechanical Hi-Beat 36000 Ref. SBGH345.

First introduced in 1967 and reinterpreted since 2014, the 44GS is undoubtedly one of Grand Seiko’s most iconic design. Models adopting this design are now featured in the Brand’s Heritage Collection, which gathers a selection of classic watches that bring alive again the designs and styles of the earliest Grand Seiko timepieces, embodying uniquely Japanese Grand Seiko aesthetic and offering simple perfection in both performance and finishing for which Grand Seiko has always been renowned.
