When Hamilton created the world’s first electric watch in 1957, it was a watch of the future. Science fiction became reality inside an unconventional three-sided case with a pulse of electricity rippling across the dial, and the legacy of the Ventura was born. Now, the Pennsylvania born brand presents the Hamilton Ventura Elvis80 Skeleton.
The space-age icon takes its most futuristic form yet with the new Hamilton Ventura Elvis80 Skeleton. We reinterpreted the Ventura’s classic form to create the sleek, ergonomic Elvis80 case shape, named after the original Ventura’s most famous fan, Elvis Presley himself.
Automatic rather than electric, the Hamilton Ventura Elvis80 Skeleton is a watch that celebrates cutting-edge watchmaking in all its forms with a striking view of the movement mechanics revealed through the skeletonized dial.
On show beneath, and with its Côtes de Genève decoration clearly visible, the Hamilton H-10-S movement with 80-hour power reserve is an equally uncompromising piece of engineering.
Look closely, and you’ll see how we’ve connected past, present and future, with a dramatic reference to the Hamilton Ventura’s origins: the pulse of electricity is present once again, zig-zagging across the skeleton structure.
The Hamilton Ventura Elvis80 Skeleton is available in two impressive versions: one with a black PVD coating for the case and skeleton dial, lit up by a red electric pulse, and the other in rose gold PVD with a rose gold electric pulse. A black rubber strap finishes off both models.
A modern, powerful evolution of an enduring and visionary classic, the Hamilton Ventura Elvis80 Skeleton, like its forebear, is a watch for the forward-thinkers of today, as they shape the world of tomorrow.
