Poetry in motion

Transitioning from the dimensional world of fine jewelry to the restrictive landscape of a timepiece dial is a feat in scale and creativity. With a dynamic arrangement of petals in contrasting colors, textures and shapes, the two lotus flowers on the dial seemingly rise from pearly waters to meet your gaze. Crafted in 18-karat gold, the individual petals feature white and pink mother-of-pearl, 153 brilliant-cut diamonds, hammered white gold, and 10 striking marquise-cut diamonds. By playing with asymmetry, angles and colors, Winston designers bring a wonderful sense of naturalism to the scene.
To create the illusion of rippling water, fine lines were sculpted into the fragile mother-of-pearl background. The lines begin under the hour and minute hands and grow in size as they reach the outer limits of the pond. At 12 o’clock, a large emerald-cut diamond crowns the excentered hours and minutes, a tribute to Mr. Winston’s preferred diamond cut.

A beautiful case and movement

Measuring 36 mm in diameter, the white gold case of the Premier Lotus is set with 57 brilliant-cut diamonds, including the hallmark truncated diamond in the crown and four truncated diamonds on either end of the strap attachments. A matching pearly pink alligator leather strap with an ardillon buckle is set with 17 brilliant-cut diamonds to complete the picture.
On the reverse side, a sapphire crystal reveals the Swiss-made mechanical automatic movement. Fitted with a flat silicon balance spring to ensure lasting precision, the movement offers a robust power reserve of 68 hours and is water-resistant up to 30 meters. In true Winston form, the movement is beautifully finished with a rose gold skeletonized rotor, circular Côtes de Genève decoration on the bridges, rhodium-plated parts, and circular graining on the base plate.
