Monte Carlo, Monaco – May 23rd, 2021: Max Verstappen’s second season win and his first at the Monaco circuit marks an exciting closing to a successful weekend for the Red Bull Racing Honda Team as well as for the longstanding partner of racing in the Principality, TAG Heuer.
Just two days after being presented with a one-of-a-kind TAG Heuer Monaco timepiece, especially designed and engraved with personalized markings, Max Verstappen wins the 78th Monaco Grand Prix in the Principality after a dominant performance ahead of Carlos Sainz Jr. and Lando Norris on the podium.
As a result of this incredible result, Max Verstappen takes the lead in the 2021 Formula 1 Driver Standings for the first time in his career. As Official Watch of the Monaco Grand Prix since 2011, TAG Heuer was honoured to be back in Monaco to celebrate the legendary race and highlight of the Formula 1 season.
