Timeless elegance and classic good looks have made Rado Coupole Classic Automatic models a popular choice around the world. The Swiss watchmaker has now taken a fresh look at the collection, with six new Power Reserve models appearing in a timely update. Trend-smart colours, crisp visuals and select colour gradient models deliver an understated, clearly contemporary elegance. The distinctive, newly designed Power Reserve display is given pride of place on the dials, its zero-eighty scale indicating an extended running time of 80 hours.
Three models in the new series present rose gold-coloured stainless steel cases, one framing a champagne-coloured dial, and two featuring splendid blended gradients shading from dark blue at the periphery to blue in the centre, and from black to brown. All three feature the Power Reserve display at 9 o’clock, a date window at 3 o’clock and curved, rose gold-coloured hands and applied indexes, and are worn with a dark brown leather strap with stamped crocodile pattern.
Polished stainless steel cases enclose silver-coloured and black gradient dial versions with silver-coloured applied indexes and rhodium-coloured curved hands. The silver-dial model has a blue second hand and blue Power Reserve indicator and is worn with a black leather crocodile-pattern strap; a 9-row brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet holds the black dial version. A classic design in stainless steel rounds out the new Power Reserve series, the champagne-coloured dial enhanced by a rose gold PVD bezel, case back and crown. Elegant in every respect, this model is worn with a 9-row brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet with rose gold PVD middle links and a 3-fold clasp in titanium.
The new versions of the Rado Coupole Classic Power Reserve are fitted with the powerful new Calibre R772 automatic movement, even more accurate and reliable. Its NivachronTM hairspring ensures that it remains unaffected by magnetic fields. The new models also feature a signature Rado sapphire crystal case back offering intriguing views of the automatic movement, which is adjusted to 5 positions. All are water-resistant to 5 bar (50 metres).
