Panerai draws from its past by developing the identity of the Luminor Logo icon, configured in two new models with a distinctive character: the Luminor Base Logo – 44 mm (PAM01086) and Luminor Logo – 44 mm (PAM01084).
To forge professional precision tools aligned with their purpose and with high levels of technology and innovation: that has always been Panerai’s abiding mission.
It has been realized once more with the execution of two references destined to represent the new gateway into Panerai’s world: the manual winding Luminor Base Logo – 44 mm (PAM01086) and Luminor Logo – 44 mm (PAM01084).
One Panerai model, two different interpretations, each a tribute to the legendary history of the brand. It is an inheritance observed through widely recognized graphic codes: the layout of the dial with Arabic numerals and engraved indexes filled with neon green Super-LumiNovaTM and the shape of the Luminor case, characterized by a distinctive bridge device with a lever to protect the crown.
The sharp, singular lines were inspired by the first civilian models of the 1990s.
Differentiated only by the presence of the small seconds at 9 o’clock, the dials of the two Luminor Logo models share an identical colour palette: black with a matte finish.
Their time-tested aesthetic dimensions are complemented by the presence at 6 o’clock of the iconic “OP” logo.
The stylized rendering of the Officine Panerai initials features divergent double arrows representing the brand’s know-how with respect to tools able to perform above and below the surface of the sea.
Proprietary codes drawn from the brand’s recent history, including the typeface chosen to outline the numerals residing at the cardinal points of the dial, amplifies their appeal.
A distinctive material enhances the project: a case composed of AISI 316L steel, a low carbon alloy with a good degree of corrosion resistance.
Sensitive to tradition down to the depths of mechanics, both models are animated by Caliber P.6000, which was conceived and developed within the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel.
A mechanical movement with manual winding equipped with a device to stop the balance when the crown is pulled out and a three-day power reserve delivered by a single barrel. The movement is reliable and solid thanks to the double bridge supporting the regulator.
Water-resistant up to 10 bar (about 100 meters deep), the new manual Luminor models are accompanied by a calfskin strap, in black or light brown with beige stitching and a pin buckle in brushed steel.
The straps affix to the lugs using the Panerai Screw System. An additional black rubber strap completes the package, along with a special screwdriver to change the straps and for removing the buckle.
