TAG Heuer selects the finest materials and combines the timeless elegance of black with golden chic to create an incredibly stylish special edition of its smartwatch: the TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition. A watch with an exclusive design, whose digital interface comes with exciting updates.
For a very elegant start into a new season, TAG Heuer presents the TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition, an exclusive edition of its TAG Heuer Connected watch. The brand’s designers have used the finest materials such as titanium and ceramic for this version and have given pride of place to two colours that go perfectly together: gold and black. The result is a superb, fresh reinterpretation of the TAG Heuer Connected watch that combines the style, sophisticated aesthetics and technological performance that have made the TAG Heuer Connected so successful since its launch in 2015. The digital interface of this smartwatch has also received special attention, meaning the TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition includes new versions of the brand’s popular watch faces as well as a brand new dial called Eclipse.
Elegant performance
In the purest watchmaking tradition, the TAG Heuer Connected is back with a special edition that harmoniously combines stunning design with the finest materials and features two perfectly complementary colours: the intense sheen of golden accents combined with the depth and intensity of black. The watch is fitted with an elegant ceramic bezel, the softest leathers for its strap, a crisp sapphire crystal and new golden markings. The result is a watch that is certainly luxurious while boasting all the technological performance that first sets this market-leading smartwatch apart.
For the TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition, the brand’s designers first selected a grade 2 titanium watch case and gave it the “Black Titanium” look. This effect is achieved by sandblasting and a black diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating, which gives the piece a supremely elegant matt black finish. It was applied to the watch’s clasp as well, with ever-thoughtful attention to detail.
The piece’s understated elegance is enhanced by its black ceramic bezel, which has been mirror polished to offer a beautiful contrast against the microbeaded case. The bezel features graduations and markings in golden lacquer, as do the black DLC-coated pushers and crown, adding subtle and sophisticated finishes to the piece.
The TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition will be released alongside three new beautiful and easily interchangeable straps, with a comfortable and resistant rubber base and elevated soft leather covering, and in elegant colours, sporty chic blue, natural golden brown and classic, timeless black. Owners of the TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition will thus have even more options available to quickly switch up the look of their watch depending on the occasion or their unique taste. These three new colourways will join the existing TAG Heuer straps collection and will be available for sale starting on 22 September 2021. The new straps are suitable for all third-generation TAG Heuer Connected watches.
Beautiful design and customized features
To complement its sophisticated aesthetic, the TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition’s digital interface has also been enhanced with some beautiful new features.
The TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition will include the brand new watch face named Eclipse, created in-house and available for all TAG Heuer Connected watches. But for the special edition, the new Eclipse dial will be customised with a beautiful golden colour to perfectly match the standout casing of the TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition.
In addition to the new dial, six of the famous Connected watch faces have also been redesigned to seamlessly coordinate with the special edition colours. The Helios, Classic and Porsche dials, for example, are elegantly reimagined with gold elements to create perfect harmony with the design of the watch. TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition wearers will have access to many perfectly matched combinations including the never-before-seen Eclipse as well as Helios, Synopsis, Timekeeping and Classic from the core collection reworked to be paired with the golden accents of the new piece, plus Orbital and Heuer 02, which already offer complementary colours within their wide range of personalisation options.
High-quality materials, impeccable design, luxurious details … the Connected Bright Black Edition watch offers the elegant sophistication of fine watchmaking while never compromising on its technological performance.
From 22 September 2021, the TAG Heuer Connected Bright Black Edition is available for CHF 2,500 at TAG Heuer boutiques worldwide as well as on the brand’s e-commerce website.
