Yesterday, Sinn Spezialuhren presented the spring novelties for 2021. Since this year marks the 60 years anniversary, the German brand launched a complex and complete collection, from ladies watches to professional tools. We would start with the video presentation of all pieces followed by the presentation of each piece in particular. Sinn 144 St S Anniversary II – The 60th anniversary sports chronograph

Launched in 1974, model Sinn 144 is one of the most traditional watches in our range.

To mark our company’s 60th anniversary, we are now introducing a special limited edition of 600 timepieces in the form of the Sinn 144 St S Anniversary II. This model clearly demonstrates the timelessness of our instrumental, technical watches. The Sinn 144 St S Anniversary II is also a fine example of how we are constantly developing our classic timepieces. For example, the old Sinn 144 featured a black chrome-plated case with mineral glass and was only pressure-resistant up to 5 bar.

The Sinn 144 St S Anniversary II takes things to the next level in many respects. For instance, this timepiece is equipped with a wide range of technical features, is resistant to low pressure, waterproof and can withstand pressures of up to 20 bar. Ar‑Dehumidifying Technology ensures greater functional reliability and freedom from fogging. The bead-blasted surface of the stainless-steel case has also been hardened using TEGIMENT Technology, making it especially scratch-resistant. This type of technology forms the basis for the high-quality Black Hard Coating. Typical of a 144, our anniversary edition also features a combined tachymeter and pulsometer scale.

The prominent positioning and intuitive readability of the white counters for the stopwatch minutes and seconds give this anniversary edition a modern look, without forsaking its traditional feel. As a reminiscence of the company’s anniversary, the number 60 of the pulsometer scale has been applied in orange-red daylight luminous paint.

Our limited edition Sinn 144 St S Anniversary II with unique numbering comes in a fine case with a black solid bracelet and a black silicone strap.

Sinn 104 St Sa I MG – The classic pilot watch with a shimmering metallic-green dial

A traditional pilot watch designed in true, traditional Sinn style. Accordingly, our 104 St Sa I MG model presents a clear structure, thus offering optimum readability of the time, date and day of the week.

For this model, we chose a distinctive colouring with a shimmering metallic-green dial. The instrument watch features a polished stainless-steel case. The crystal and transparent back made of sapphire crystal allows the accuracy of the mechanical movement to be admired. The pilot’s bezel with minute ratcheting can be rotated on both sides and is securely attached to the case. Its key mark is a luminous triangle.

The Sinn 104 St Sa I MG model is resistant to low pressure, waterproof and can withstand pressures of up to 20 bar.

Sinn 358 Sa Pilot DS – The 60th-anniversary sports chronograph

In keeping with the design of traditional instrumental chronographs, Sinn 358 Sa PILOT DS model captivates with clarity, functionality and elegance – and also a dial that has been finished with a manually engraved decoration.

As a result of this decorative grinding, the wearer enjoys an exciting play of colours as the base material on some parts of the dial reflects different nuances of light. This makes each Sinn 358 Sa PILOT DS unique – the impression achieved during the machining process can never be repeated, making it completely individual. But this design does not negatively impact the clear readability.

In addition to being 42 mm in diameter, the highly curved crystal made of sapphire crystal in a satinized stainless-steel case characterises the overall appearance. We also use sapphire crystal for the transparent case back, enabling fascinating glimpses into the delicate work of the mechanical movement at any time.

Sinn 358 Sa Pilot B E – The traditional chronograph with a dark-blue dial and ivory-coloured coating.

In keeping with the design of traditional instrumental chronographs, Sinn 358 Sa PILOT B E model captivates with clarity, functionality and elegance – and also a dark-blue dial that has been finished with a sunburst decoration.

The distinctive colouring and striking combination of dark-blue dial and ivory-coloured coating on the indices, hands and numerals also catches the eye. This vintage-style colour scheme makes for an eye-catching contrast on this watch.

Sinn U50 S Mother-of-Pearl S –  The diving watch made of German Submarine Steel with a mother-of-pearl dial.

Each of our 500 limited edition diving watches is uniquely numbered and boasts a light-reflecting dial that creates an exciting interplay of colour. This iridescent finish is the result of the shimmering black mother-of-pearl on the dial, which is a feature of this edition.

Combining mother-of-pearl with a diving watch seems only natural, given that they are united by the element water. What’s more, mother-of-pearl is a naturally occurring product, making each dial unique. The overall design is completed by the Black Hard Coating, which highlights the striking form of the Sinn U50 S Mother-of-Pearl S and its minimalist display.

The timepiece is also equipped with special technical features. For example, the case and crown are made of high-strength German Submarine Steel. The classification company DNV GL verifies and certifies pressure resistance to a diving depth of 500 metres (= 50 bar) and temperature resistance and functionality in accordance with the European diving equipment standards.

Sinn 434 St B – The stylish ladies’ watch with [Q] Technology and blue dial.

The extraordinary character – resulting from the combination of timeless aesthetics and the utmost in precision – of Sinn 434 St B model is waiting to be explored.

The blue dial is an optical feature which we have finished with an additional sunburst decoration. This dial is set in an elegant stainless-steel case with crystal made of sapphire crystal glass.

The appliqués, meticulously attached by hand, are subtle in their elegance in showing the hours and give the impression of a traditional ladies’ watch.

And this watch fulfils strict requirements in terms of technology: it is resistant to low pressure, waterproof and can withstand pressures of up to 10 bar. It still features a high-precision, temperature-stabilised quartz movement. Additionally, we have minimised the electromagnetic radiation of the movement, as confirmed by the [Q] symbol on the dial.

 

Sinn 434 TW68 WG B – The stylish ladies’ watch with [Q] Technology and blue dial.

Sinn 434 TW68 WG B model is a real piece of jewellery that can be perfectly combined with many items of clothing. The watch boasts refined, feminine elegance and seamlessly combines purity and timeless design.

For a stylish touch of finesse, the blue dial with sunburst decoration is encased in a fine decorative bezel of 18-carat white gold with 68 precious diamonds in Top Wesselton quality – underscored by an elegant stainless-steel case with crystal made of sapphire crystal glass.

Another optical characteristic of this watch creation are the appliqués, which have been meticulously attached by hand to display the hours. Combined with the dial, these appliqués subtly underline the impression of a beautiful traditional ladies’ watch.

The Sinn 434 TW68 WG B model has a few special features in terms of technology as well: for instance, it features a high-precision, temperature-stabilised chronometer quartz movement. The [Q] symbol on the dial confirms the minimised electromagnetic radiation emitted by the movement.

Flawless functionality and a safe feeling with it on your wrist: Sinn 434 St GG B model offers both.

For example, we have minimised the electromagnetic radiation of the movement for this watch, as confirmed by the [Q] symbol on the dial. Additionally, it features a high-precision, temperature-stabilised quartz movement. It is still resistant to low pressure, waterproof and can withstand pressures of up to 10 bar.

You can also discover the extraordinary character – resulting from the combination of timeless aesthetics and the utmost in precision – of the Sinn 434 St B model. The blue dial is an optical feature that has also been finished with a sunburst decoration. This dial is set in an elegant stainless-steel case with crystal made of sapphire crystal glass.

 

A whole new level of exclusivity is evoked through the featuring a fine, decorative bezel of 18-carat yellow gold. The appliqués, meticulously attached by hand, are subtle in their elegance in showing the hours and give the impression of a traditional ladies’ watch.

Sinn 717 – The cockpit wristwatch.

The Sinn Spezialuhren brand has always stayed true to its roots, ultimately making a name for itself back in the early 1960s with its pilot watches and cockpit clocks. Originally designed for the German Luftwaffe’s Tornado programme in the late 1970s, the Nabo 17 ZM was a cockpit clock with a central minute counter.

These type of cockpit clocks are still used by the military today in Tornado multirole combat aircraft. They were also used in the F-104 Starfighter, the Breguet Atlantic – a long-range maritime patrol aircraft – and in military helicopters such as the Bölkow Bo 105. A special feature of these clocks was the start and reset buttons at the bottom of the case, as well as the easy-to-read orange hands of the chronograph’s central stopwatch display for seconds and minutes.

The design and style of the Nabo 17 ZM provided the inspiration for model Sinn 717. This timepiece also features a central stopwatch display for seconds and minutes in the form of large orange hands, which is created using our time-honoured SINN chronograph movement SZ01. The case houses an interior pilot’s bezel, which can be smoothly operated from the outer diameter of the watch.

In keeping with its predecessor, the dial is distinguished by its excellent readability – even in the dark or under adverse lighting conditions – thanks to the sapphire crystal glass with antireflective coating on both sides. All in all, and at 45 mm in diameter, the 717 cuts a fine figure.
